复旦大学特聘教授，博士生导师，中国计算机学会会士，中国人工智能学会会士。于复旦大学获得计算机科学学士、硕士学位，于美国南加州大学获得计算机科学博士学位。曾在美国乔治梅森大学、美国佛蒙特大学、美国国家科学基金会任职，任终身职正教授、Dorothean冠名教授、项目主管等职。主要研究方向包括大数据分析及系统，主持或曾主持国家重点研发计划项目、NSFC重点项目等20余项，发表论文百余篇，曾获得美国NSF的CAREER Award，现任IEEE ICDE会议系列、IEEE BigComp会议系列指导委员会委员，曾任Springer DSE期刊主编，IEEE ICDE 2012及ACM CIKM 2014总主席，WAIM会议系列指导委员会主席等。

Xiaoyang Sean WANG

Professor, School of Computer Science, Fudan University; CAAI/CCF Fellow.He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Fudan University, and PhD degree from the University of Southern California, all in Computer Science. Before joining Fudan University in 2011, he was a tenured full professor and Dorothean Chair Professor at the University of Vermont, and a program director at US NSF. His main research interests include data analytics and platforms. Hehas been the PI of 20+ nationally (US and China) funded research projects, including a national key research and development plan project and an NSFC key project. He has published over 100 research papers, and won US NSF Career Award. He is currently a member of the Steering Committees of IEEE ICDE Conference series and IEEE BigComp Conference series, and was an Editor-in-Chief of Springer DSE journal, a general Chair of IEEE ICDE 2012 and ACM CIKM 2014, and the Chair of the Steering Committee of WAIM Conference series.
